Each hat is embroidered with the Twatt Road Sign…

Famously named ‘Twatt’ is a small settlement in the parish of Birsay, Orkney (as well as being a popular surname in Orkney and Shetland… Indeed, there is also a small settlement in Shetland of the same name).

The road signs have always proved a popular place for photo opportunities… I can’t think why ;)
