My Story…

Growing up in Worcestershire and the West Midlands, two things were certain to me from a very early age… I loved everything creative and I was by far the happiest the further north I found myself. And so, after many wonderful trips to these magnificent islands over almost 20 years, I finally made the permanent move to Orkney with my husband in May 2017. I’m beyond thrilled to be living, working and loving life in beautiful Birsay in the north west corner of Mainland Orkney.

I began working as a graphic designer and artworker in 1987, whilst dabbling with fine art and photography. More than three decades later I’m a proudly self-taught fine artist and photographer, who dabbles in graphic design.

Visitors are always welcome to come and enjoy the fabulous view of the Earl’s Palace ruins and out across Birsay Bay from my studio, from where I work in a variety of medium. I have a wide range of original artwork, prints, cards, postcards and gifts available. I also take commission work, both fine art and graphic design.
